Helensvale area in the Gold Coast's
north has seen some solid growth over
the past few years, as it benefits from

residential development began in 1974
when the then Albert Shire Council
approved the estate. Designed to

Both the local high school and primary school were established in 1990 to cater to the increasing number of residents attracted to the area. There are campuses for Griffith University and Bond on the Gold Coast, as well as TAFE campuses at Ashmore and Southport.
